Product Photography

Cost always depends on the type of service you are looking for and the complexity of the work you require.   A Product Image: A small range of cosmetics would be a low cost investment, while a fashion shoot with six models, each with five changes of outfit would be a higher cost.   An Architectural Commission: Photographing a multi-room building over three floors, that may also require multiple visits to the premises, would obviously higher.   Fine Art Reproduction: Prices will vary according to the complexity of the Artwork to be reproduced. We are commissioned by artists who work in pastels or watercolours on smooth paper to large canvasses with heavily textured oil paint.   At Image, our experience and skills allow for complex reproduction of fine artworks without losing contrast, colour fidelity or resolution.

We detail the scope of the works you require and provide an upfront quotation on every commission.   We are always happy to meet with you face to face and discuss your project without obligation.   Please contact Trevor Goldsmith on 0402 010 803 to arrange a time to get together, at your office, our studio or a coffee shop, whatever is easier.

Architectural commissions always require visits to site with the client (owner or architect) to ensure we fully understand that client’s needs.   On some occasions we have attended an Artist’s studio to conduct an appraisal for Fine Art Reproduction. Some of the equipment we use within our studio is simply too large to move.   Other equipment, such as a large light exclusion tent, can be used onsite and are frequently used within restaurants to capture food images by creating consistent lighting.   We are always happy to visit with artists / chefs / architects for a chat and discuss your needs.   Please call Trevor on 0402 010 803 to discuss.

While smaller artworks and product photography is generally conducted in our Bayswater studio, we frequently attend at artist’s studio or client’s premises for large or high value items. (Jewellery, food, heavy sculpture, construction sites, industrial and manufacturing complexes)

Studio based Artwork Reproductions and Product Photography are generally completed within 4 to 5 working days from arrival at the studio. A time estimate and date of commencement will be provided prior to acceptance of the commission.

You can drop them off at our studio in Bayswater (by appointment only) or send them via Australia Post to be collected by us from the nearest Business Post Office. Artworks should be delivered by the Artist to our studio to ensure safe delivery.

You can pick up your products / artwork from our studio in Bayswater (by appointment only) at the same time as collecting your image files. Architectural commission images are couriered to the clients office.

All items digitally captured will require some amount of retouching, some require more than others depending on light reflectance and the physical composition of the product being photographed.   While a reasonable amount of retouching time is included within each commission quotation, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee should an excessive amount of retouching be required.   Any additional charges are always discussed with the client before work outside the commissioned scope of works, is commenced.
